Sales & Distribution Management • Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets. • Monitor van sales performance by route and SKU (product). • Develop and implement route plans to maximize coverage and efficiency. • Ensure correct product mix and pricing strategy in each route. • Analyze sales reports and suggest strategies for improvement. 2. Team Supervision • Train, motivate, and manage van salesmen or drivers. • Conduct daily briefings and performance reviews. • Ensure that sales staff adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety standards. • Support salesmen in the field and help resolve route or customer issues. 3. Market Development • Identify new customers and outlets to expand the sales base. • Ensure proper product display and visibility in retail outlets. • Gather market intelligence (competitor activities, pricing, promotions). 4. Inventory & Cash Management • Oversee loading/unloading and stock reconciliation at the start and end of each day. • Ensure proper cash collection and deposit as per company policy. • Minimize stock losses, expiries, and damages. 5. Reporting & Coordination • Submit daily/weekly sales and market activity reports. • Coordinate with warehouse, logistics, and finance teams. • Provide feedback to the Sales Manager on field operations and customer insights.
