Venue Operations Director - Sports Sector

We are supporting a leading sports organization in Saudi Arabia with the recruitment of a Venue Operations Director.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead overall stadium and venue operations across multiple host cities
• Oversee matchday operations, command & control processes, and venue readiness programs
• Manage crowd movement, safety, access control, and emergency response coordination
• Work closely with government agencies, security, medical teams, broadcast partners, and technical operators
• Ensure smooth delivery of VIP/VVIP protocol, media operations, and stakeholder flows
• Drive the operational plan, staffing model, and readiness exercises for all venues
• Ensure full compliance with international football competition standards and operational requirements

Key Requirements

We are seeking a senior professional with:

• 15+ years of stadium or venue operations experience
• Proven track record delivering major international football tournaments (e.g., FIFA, UEFA, CAF, AFC)
• Deep expertise in matchday delivery, readiness planning, crowd management, safety operations, and multi‑agency coordination
• Experience managing complex, high‑pressure environments and multiple venues simultaneously
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and decision‑making skills
