Veterinary Receptionist

Overview
Lakeland Veterinary Hospital is looking for a Part Time/Full-Time receptionist to join our practice.

We are a full-service, small animal hospital located in Lake Tapps, Washington. We believe in a quality work-life balance and are open Monday-Friday and closed on weekends, so no late nights or weekend work. Our staff is passionate about our profession. We are looking for a team player to join our fun team and a good sense of humor is a plus!

Duties

• Greet clients and their pets upon arrival, ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
• Schedule appointments and manage the clinic's calendar efficiently.
• Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and provide information about services offered.
• Maintain accurate patient records and update client information as necessary.
• Process payments and manage billing inquiries with professionalism.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of the reception area and clinic environment.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Computer proficiency.
• Passion for working with animals and clients.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• 1-2 years veterinary experience preferred.
