Veterinary Receptionist

This is a locally owned, small veterinary clinic. Receptionists' responsibilities are many and varied, including opening and closing the clinic each day, answering the phone, making appointments, assisting clients at check-in and check-out, weighing pets, conducting follow-up calls on patients, selling over-the-counter products, cleaning and preparing exam rooms between clients, keeping accurate records, and assisting veterinarians and technicians as needed.

This is a very active job that entails a lot of walking, dealing with pets of all sizes and temperaments, and carrying 40-pound bags of food. Good customer service skills, computer literacy, friendliness, and proper grammar are a must. We are a team, so you must be able to perform as a team player. Knowledge of AviMark will be helpful.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $13.50 - $14.50 per hour
