The Family YMCA of Greater Augusta is seeking a dynamic Vice President of MarketingPublic Relations to lead our brand strategy, communications, and public image. This leader will enhance the Y's visibility, strengthen community trust, and drive engagement across membership, programs, and philanthropy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead strategic marketing and brand initiatives that align with the Y's mission and values.
  • Serve as the primary media contact and spokesperson, managing public and crisis communications.
  • Oversee digital strategy, content development, and marketing analytics.
  • Partner across departments to support fundraising, membership, and community impact goals.
  • Develop and mentor a high-performing marketing team and manage external vendors.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, PR, Communications, or related field.
  • 8–10 years in marketing/communications, with 3+ in senior leadership.
  • Proven expertise in brand strategy, media relations, and digital engagement.
  • Strong leadership, project management, and public speaking skills.
  • Nonprofit or mission-driven experience preferred.
