Video Editor & Graphic Designer

We are looking for a highly creative and efficient Full-Time Video Editor to join our team remotely. You will be responsible for editing engaging long-form content for YouTube, as well as highly optimized, fast-paced short-form content for TikTok and Instagram Reels. If you know how to hook an audience, retain their attention, and tell a great story through video, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

Long-Form Editing: Edit high-quality YouTube videos from raw footage, ensuring great pacing, storytelling, and audience retention.

Short-Form Editing: Repurpose long-form content or edit native short-form videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.

Audio & Visual Polish: Mix audio, add sound effects, source background music, and apply color grading.

Engagement Elements: Add dynamic captions, text animations, B-roll, and visual effects tailored to social media trends.

Asset Creation (Bonus): Utilize graphic design skills to create eye-catching YouTube thumbnails and supporting graphics for social media posts.

Collaboration: Work closely with our team to iterate on feedback, manage project timelines, and deliver videos consistently on schedule.

Requirements

Experience: Proven experience editing specifically for YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram Reels (a portfolio or reel showcasing this is required).

Platform Knowledge: A deep understanding of what performs well on social media (pacing, hooks, trends, and platform-specific formats).

Software Proficiency: Expert in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.

Remote Ready: A reliable, high-speed internet connection and a dedicated workspace capable of handling large video files and remote collaboration.

Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects at once.

Nice-to-Haves (Standout Qualifications)

Graphic Design Skills: Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or Canva to design high-click-through-rate (CTR) thumbnails and visual assets.

Experience with motion graphics (Adobe After Effects).
