Brand Republic is looking for a passionate and creative Video Editor Intern to join our growing creative team. This internship is ideal for aspiring video editors who are eager to build a career in video editing and digital content creation and want hands-on experience working on real-world projects.

The selected candidate will work on real-world projects, assisting in the production of engaging content for digital marketing campaigns, advertisements, and social media platforms while learning industry-standard workflows.

Internship Details

• Position: Video Editor Intern
• Duration: 3 Months
• Location: P.E.C.H.S Block 06, Karachi
• Timings: 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM (Morning Shift)
• Job Type: Full-Time Internship (On-Site)

Key Responsibilities

• Edit high-quality videos for social media, digital marketing campaigns, advertisements, and promotional content.
• Create engaging short-form content, including Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts and long-form video projects.
• Add transitions, subtitles, sound effects, basic motion graphics, and visual enhancements.
• Collaborate with graphic designers, content creators, and the marketing team to produce compelling digital content.
• Organize project files and maintain an efficient editing workflow.
• Revise video projects based on creative feedback and project requirements while ensuring quality and consistency.
• Stay updated with the latest video editing trends, social media content formats, and industry best practices.

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects.
• Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator is an advantage.
• Basic understanding of video editing principles, storytelling, pacing, composition, and visual continuity.
• Knowledge of social media content formats and current digital trends.
• Creative mindset with strong attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn, take feedback positively, and work collaboratively in a fast-paced creative environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Diploma, certification, or ongoing Bachelor's degree in Media Sciences, Film Production, Multimedia Arts, Animation, or a related field.
• A portfolio, academic projects, or personal video editing work showcasing creativity and editing skills.
• Basic familiarity with motion graphics or color correction is considered a plus.
