Videographer/Editor

We’re looking for a freelance videographer to help create high-quality video content for an independent, community-oriented pharmacy and retail concept in Queens.

This is not a traditional corporate shoot. We want someone who can capture the store, the people, the products, and the neighborhood in a way that feels modern, trustworthy, energetic, and native to social. The goal is to create content that helps us grow awareness, drive foot traffic, promote prescription transfers, and showcase what makes our pharmacy different.

What you’ll do

• Come on-site and film content at the pharmacy
• Capture a mix of:
• storefront and neighborhood footage
• product and merchandising shots
• customer experience moments
• staff/team footage
• founder or talking-head content
• social-first b-roll for ads and organic content
• Help think through strong shot lists and content ideas before filming
• Shoot in a way that gives us reusable content for:
• Instagram Reels
• TikTok
• Meta ads
• website/social brand content
• Work efficiently so a single shoot day can generate a large amount of usable material

What we’re looking for

• Strong videography skills with a clean, modern aesthetic
• Experience shooting content for consumer brands, retail, food/beverage, wellness, hospitality, or local businesses
• Strong understanding of what performs on social media, especially short-form vertical video
• Able to direct non-professional talent comfortably on set
• Good instincts around lighting, framing, pacing, and capturing authentic moments
• Reliable, organized, fast, and easy to work with
• Based in NYC and able to shoot on location in Queens

Bonus if you also

• Can help edit short-form videos
• Have experience shooting paid social ads
• Can suggest concepts/hooks that are likely to perform well
• Understand how to capture footage with enough variety for multiple videos from one shoot

Deliverables

We are ideally looking for someone who can help us get a lot of output from a single shoot day. For example, a full day of filming should give us enough footage for multiple short-form videos, ad creatives, and general brand content.
