Warehouse Assistant

We are looking for Warehouse Incharge to direct receiving, warehousing and distribution operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Receiving & Inspection

• Receive incoming materials, parts, and supplies.
• Verify quantities and quality against purchase orders.
• Report any discrepancies or damaged items promptly.
• Ensure proper labeling and placement of items in designated storage areas.

2. Inventory Management

• Maintain accurate stock levels and update records in the Store/Inventory Management System.
• Conduct regular stock counts and assist during audits.
• Organize materials systematically for easy accessibility and efficient storage.

3. Issuance & Order Fulfillment

• Issue materials to departments as per approved requisitions.
• Prepare and pack items for internal dispatch when required.
• Ensure accurate documentation for all issued and returned items.

4. Store Maintenance

• Keep the store area clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of materials.
• Assist in optimizing storage space and improving the overall layout.

5. Documentation & Record Keeping

• Maintain accurate GRNs, issue slips, stock cards, and other store records.
• Update stock ledgers and system entries promptly.
• Prepare reports related to stock movements when needed.

6. Coordination & Support

• Coordinate with procurement, production, and finance departments regarding stock requirements.
• Support team members during high workload periods and special assignments.

Requirements

• FA/FSC/ICS or equivalent; vocational training in stores, warehouse, or logistics is preferred.
• 3 years of experience in store or warehouse operations in a manufacturing or industrial environment is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
• Familiarity with Store/Inventory Management Systems or related software.
• Ability to handle physical tasks, including lifting and moving materials.
• Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
• Good problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.
