Please note: This role will be for a fixed term contract period of 11 months

Overview;

As an Import Specialist, you will be responsible for coordinating import processes for goods.This includes tracking of shipments from sources until the inbound is completed.

Responsibilities;

• Ensure compliance with all import regulations and laws.
• Communicate with sources and carriers to ensure proper documentation of goods
• Coordinate with customs brokers for clearance of goods.
• Track shipments and communicate with transportation companies to ensure timely delivery of goods.
• Generate and update necessary reports to track shipment status, transit times and carrier performances.
• Maintain import records and update inventory systems as needed.
• Collaborate with finance teams to give input regarding invoices and import documentations for an accurate payment process.
  
  

Qualifications;

• Bachelor's degree in related field
• Minimum 2 years of related experience in supply chain or logistics environment
• Knowledge of import regulations and processes.
• SAP knowledge and experience
• Knowledge about different transportation modes is plus ( Sea, Rail and Road)
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
