Key responsibilities include supervising and training warehouse staff, managing inventory control and accuracy, coordinating shipping and receiving, and enforcing safety regulations.
- Staff management: Train, supervise, evaluate, and motivate warehouse staff to meet performance goals and ensure safety and efficiency.
- Inventory control: Oversee accurate receiving, storing, and dispatching of products. Conduct inventory counts and maintain accurate records to prevent discrepancies.
- Daily operations: Manage the day-to-day flow of the warehouse, including coordinating staff, assigning tasks, and ensuring the timely dispatch of goods.
- Safety and compliance: Ensure all operations comply with company policies, food safety regulations , and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Coordination: Liaise with other departments, such as logistics and procurement, to streamline operations and manage shipments effectively.
- Process improvement: Identify opportunities to improve warehouse processes, increase efficiency, and reduce costs.
