The Assistant Warehouse Supervisor leads a team of 19 personnel, guiding and training staff to enhance productivity and maintain high standards of safety and operational excellence. The role demands close collaboration with senior management and various departments to streamline inventory control and logistics optimization efforts. The successful candidate will have at least five years of experience in a similar supervisory role, demonstrating expertise in warehouse management systems (WMS), logistics coordination, and staff development. By combining strong leadership skills with technical knowledge, the Assistant Warehouse Supervisor contributes to the overall success of Shan Marketing Services' supply chain activities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily warehouse operations, including inventory management, order fulfillment, shipping, and receiving.
• Manage and lead a team of 19 warehouse staff, providing training, development, and performance feedback.
• Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory management software to monitor stock levels and ensure accurate inventory control.
• Coordinate logistics and supply chain activities to optimize warehouse efficiency and timely delivery of goods.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
• Plan and implement shipping schedules in collaboration with carriers to meet delivery deadlines.
• Analyze warehouse workflows to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies for logistics optimization.
• Support senior supervisors in developing warehouse operational procedures and best practices.
• Monitor and maintain records of warehouse activities, documenting staff performance, stock movements, and equipment usage.
• Resolve operational issues promptly to minimize disruptions in warehouse functions.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety standards and inventory accuracy.
• Facilitate communication and collaboration among warehouse teams and other departments to support overall business goals.
• Assist in the recruitment, onboarding, and training of new warehouse staff members.
• Maintain equipment and facility conditions to support continuous warehouse operations.
• Drive initiatives for continuous improvement in warehouse processes and employee engagement.
