Warehouse Team Lead

JOB PURPOSE

To lead and manage a team of WH professionals in providing high quality and insuring the smooth functioning of the WH operations.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Team supervision and coordination
• Supervision of the team and support staff, training and development
• Coordination and allocation of tasks to ensure efficient work flow and effective utilization of resource
• Monitoring Team Performance and providing feedback, implementing strategy for improvements
• Ensuring the quality of incoming and outgoing products meets standards and that offloading/loading processes are done in a way that prevents damage and trade returns.
• Ensuring all invoices are returned to the warehouse on same day of delivery signed by the customer as proof of delivery.
• Verification and confirmation of the quantity and quality of goods returned from trade as per documents to avoid customer complaints and stock variations
• Ensuring quantity of goods loaded / received are as per order quantity to facilitate cycle counts are conducted and reconciled weekly to achieve inventory record accuracy.

EXPERIENCE, QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS:

• Graduate in related discipline
• Minimum 5 years of experience in similar operations In UAE with progressive leadership responsibility
• Knowledge of all warehouse operations and quality standards
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven warehouse environment with multitask handling, excellent communication skills, problem solving and leadership and Team management skills.
