Web Designer

O V E R A L L P U R P O S E :

Okay, so this is a bit broader than just web design, but if you are a web designer or looking to be one, we think you could be a really great fit! This role would be responsible for creating and maintaining a great brand across all our products (both digital and physical), and would also be responsible for helping build and troubleshoot technical web-based systems for the org. This includes our website but also would include helping build out our donor management system, our automations, and other systems. It would also be the only full-time media person on our team, so this person would be responsible for helping share the load for media projects that the team takes on.

We have always valued creating innovative and inspiring media to showcase the impact of our work to donors, and this person would be a key person in helping us create the next iteration of that brand at The Hope Venture.

Q U A L I F I C A T I O N S :

The person for this role should:

• have a great portfolio (please link or upload that in the application)
• have experience in website/app building and some experience in graphic design
• be quick to learn new systems
• fun:)
• have a heart for what we do
• adhere to our Statement of Faith

Skills that will be needed for the role, but could be learned on the job:

• Use of Adobe Illustrator/In Design/Photoshop
• Front-end coding ability (html, css, javascript)
• Some amount of back-end coding (especially the ability to utilize APIs and webhooks)
• Database management (we use a tool called Airtable)
• Automation building (Zapier/Airtable/Mailchimp)

*I would love to help teach these skills, but the ability to ask questions, dive in and practice, make mistakes and learn from them, and manage a broad range of tasks is essential.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
