As a BrandRep Web Designer, you will combine the technicality of SEO with the art of design, using some of the top website development tools as paintbrushes to create masterpieces. You are the Bob Ross of website development in platforms such as WordPress. You excel working with teams and enjoy taking an active role to ensure the group fully understands all available options and capabilities.

An ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in web design or a related field with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role. You will have a good understanding of SEO and familiarity with Photoshop. Additional proficiency with programming languages and the ability to work independently are key for this role.

Responsibilities for Website Developer

• Use a variety of programming languages in order to create user-friendly web pages
• Work with the copywriter, graphic designer, and client to develop SEO-rich e-commerce websites for small to medium-sized businesses.
• Experience managing and servicing WordPress and other 3rd party website platforms.
• Create the visual design of responsive brand websites and optimize them for mobile, tablet, and desktop.
• You will be involved in client facing UI / UX meetings, and provide your expertise and initial mockup sketches.
• You will lead the development of a style guide that dictates the colors, fonts, and design patterns that are used in our web app.
• Implement industry-standard white-hat SEO and digital design best practices.
• Research and recommend trending digital design, layouts, and interface to enhance user experience.
• Strong knowledge and proficiency of Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.

Qualifications for Front End Developer

• 3+ years of Professional Web Design experience, must provide website samples
• Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio
• Be comfortable doing web design while using Word Press, HTML, and CSS
• Be an expert with Adobe Creative Cloud and Microsoft Office.
• Have a strong working knowledge of JavaScript, JQuery, and KnockoutJS or AngularJS
• Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process is an advantage
• Excellent communication skills - you have a way with words & can connect easily with others
• Creativity and willingness to work on own initiative
• Must be able to present professionally and articulately

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
