Job Description

Value Group is looking for a skilled Web Developer who will be responsible for designing, coding, and maintaining responsive websites that provide exceptional user experiences. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in front-end and/or back-end development, a keen eye for design, and a passion for building clean, scalable, and functional web solutions that reflect our brand’s excellence and commitment to quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and maintain responsive websites and web applications.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code using modern frameworks and tools.
• Collaborate with designers, content creators, and marketing teams to implement website updates and new features.
• Optimize websites for maximum speed, performance, and SEO best practices.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing web projects.
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsive design across devices.
• Integrate APIs, plugins, and third-party tools as needed.
• Maintain version control (Git) and ensure code quality through testing.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies, frameworks, and industry trends.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 2 years of Proven experience as a Web Developer (portfolio or examples of past work required).
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and front-end frameworks such as React, Vue.js, or Angular.
• Experience with back-end technologies like Node.js, PHP, Python (Django/Flask), or Laravel.
• Strong knowledge of databases (MySQL, MongoDB, or PostgreSQL).
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git/GitHub.
• Understanding of UI/UX principles and responsive design.
• Knowledge of WordPress, Shopify, or other CMS platforms is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
