Position Overview

Matlay is looking for a motivated Web Developer Intern to join our team for a 3-month internship. The selected candidate will assist in developing, maintaining, and improving the company’s website and digital platforms. This role is ideal for individuals who want hands-on experience in web development and real-world project exposure.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and maintaining the company website
• Support in building responsive web pages and features
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
• Fix bugs and improve website performance
• Collaborate with the design and marketing team to implement website updates
• Test website functionality across different devices and browsers
• Assist in website optimization and basic SEO implementation

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Understanding of responsive web design principles
• Familiarity with website frameworks or CMS platforms is a plus
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work in a team environment

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of React, WordPress, or other web frameworks
• Basic understanding of APIs and backend integration
• Familiarity with Git or version control systems
