Job Summary
A Wedding Planner is responsible for organizing, coordinating, and managing all aspects of a client’s wedding to ensure a seamless and memorable event. This role involves working closely with couples to understand their vision, managing budgets, sourcing vendors, coordinating logistics, and overseeing the wedding day from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
1. Client Consultation & Planning
- Meet with clients to understand their vision, preferences, and budget.
- Provide creative ideas and professional guidance on themes, décor, venues, and timelines.
- Develop detailed wedding plans and schedules.
2. Budget Management
- Create and manage wedding budgets.
- Track expenses and ensure all services stay within financial limits.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with vendors.
3. Vendor Coordination
- Research, recommend, and book vendors such as caterers, photographers, florists, entertainers, and venues.
- Review and manage vendor contracts.
- Maintain strong professional relationships with service providers.
4. Event Design & Logistics
- Oversee décor setup, seating arrangements, and event layout.
- Coordinate transportation, accommodations, and guest logistics.
- Develop contingency plans for unexpected issues.
5. Timeline & Day-Of Coordination
- Create a detailed wedding day timeline.
- Supervise vendors and ensure timely execution of all activities.
- Resolve issues discreetly and efficiently during the event.
6. Administrative Duties
- Maintain records, contracts, and payment schedules.
- Communicate regularly with clients and vendors.
- Provide post-event follow-up and feedback collection.

- Proven experience in event planning or wedding coordination
- Portfolio of successfully executed events (preferred)
