Job Summary

The Welder is responsible for fabricating, assembling, and installing metal components used in interior fit-out projects such as partitions, frames, staircases, railings, furniture, and decorative metal works. The role requires precision, safety awareness, and the ability to work both in the workshop and on-site.

Key Responsibilities

• Read and interpret shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and measurements
• Perform welding works (MIG, ARC, TIG as required) for interior fit-out components
• Fabricate and assemble metal items such as frames, supports, handrails, doors, and custom furniture
• Carry out on-site installation of fabricated metal works
• Ensure welding quality meets design specifications and company standards
• Use cutting, grinding, and finishing tools safely and efficiently
• Coordinate with designers, carpenters, and site supervisors
• Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work area
• Follow safety procedures and wear required PPE at all times
• Assist with material handling and basic fabrication tasks when required

Requirements & Qualifications

• Proven experience as a welder (interior fit-out or construction preferred)
• Ability to read drawings and take accurate measurements
• Knowledge of different welding techniques and metal types (MS, SS, aluminum)
• Basic understanding of interior fit-out works and site practices
• Physically fit and able to work on-site and in workshop environments
• Attention to detail and good workmanship
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Skills

• Experience in decorative or custom metal works
• Familiarity with interior design elements and finishes
• Basic fabrication and fitting skills
• Time management and problem-solving abilities

Working Conditions

• Workshop and construction site-based
• May require overtime depending on project deadlines

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED1,300.00 - AED1,400.00 per month
