Winter Merchandising Intern

The Lakeshore Chinooks are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Winter Merchandising Intern to assist with offseason merchandise planning and preparation for the 2026 baseball season. This position is perfect for students or recent graduates looking to gain hands-on experience in retail management, product design, and sports branding within a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

- Assist with the design, ordering, and organization of new 2026 merchandise lines.
- Help manage inventory levels, restocking, and product tracking.
- Contribute to the Chinooks’ online store — updating products, pricing, and photos.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to promote merchandise through social media and email campaigns.
- Support creative design projects for apparel, giveaways, and branded items.
- Research fan trends, new products, and apparel styles to help shape the 2026 line.
- Help plan and set up merchandise displays for the start of the season.
- Process, package, and fulfill online orders during the offseason.
- Assist with offseason events and community appearances as needed.
Qualifications:
- Current college student or recent graduate pursuing a degree in Marketing, Retail Management, Business, Design, or a related field.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Creative mindset and an eye for design, style, and trends.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and Canva or Adobe Creative Suite (preferred).
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team setting.
- Passion for sports, fan engagement, and merchandise branding is a plus.
