About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Workshop Foreman to lead our team of technicians and ensure the smooth operation of our workshop. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership abilities, in-depth technical expertise, and the capability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise, manage, and mentor a team of technicians and mechanics.
• Allocate work assignments and ensure tasks are completed on time and up to quality standards.
• Monitor and review ongoing work orders, addressing issues or delays promptly.
• Conduct inspections of in-progress and completed repairs to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose complex mechanical problems, providing technical support.
• Coordinate and schedule maintenance and repair projects, ensuring efficient resource utilization.
• Maintain accurate service records, work orders, and repair logs.
• Ensure adherence to safety regulations and promote a clean, safe working environment.
• Collaborate with other departments, including procurement and customer service, to streamline operations.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.

• Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems and workshop tools.

Qualifications

• DAE in Automotive / Mechanical or equivalent qualification (preferred).
• Proven experience as a technician or mechanic with sound knowledge of repair procedures.
• Prior experience in a supervisory or foreman role in a workshop or service center.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations, compliance standards, and environmental guidelines.
