The ideal candidate will have strong experience in both Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable within the property sector (preferable).

Role & Responsibilities

This is a hands-on role where you will own the critical finance functions that keep our operations running smoothly:

• Manage the end-to-end Accounts Receivable (AR) process, including customer invoicing, timely collection of payments, processing remittances, and ensuring accurate system updates.
• Manage the end-to-end Accounts Payable (AP) process, including verification of vendor invoices, preparation of payment vouchers, and vendor reconciliation.
• Perform general ledger bookkeeping, including data entry and verification, and ensure accurate financial record-keeping.
• Execute the monthly financial closing process accurately and within agreed-upon timelines.
• Prepare and interpret financial and operational reports, including specific analysis reports (e.g., inter-company analysis).
• Develop Cash Flow Forecasts and actively manage the overall cash cycle (AR/AP).
• Ensure that all financial deliverables and procedures strictly comply with regulatory guidance and professional accounting standards.
• Maintain strict adherence to expenditure controls and company financial policies.
• Assist in the accurate and timely tax filing process.
• Organize and file financial documentation, including bank slips and vendor/client agreements.
• Provide professional day-to-day administrative and functional support to the finance department.
• Assist with special projects and analyses as assigned by management.

Desired Skills, Qualification and Experience

• Education: Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce or Accounting.
• Experience: 4–5 years of progressive experience directly handling Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions.
• Sector Experience: Prefer if you have 1+ years of experience working in the Property, Real Estate & Facilities Management.
• Technical Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel (for reporting and analysis), Word, and Outlook.
• Reporting: Proven experience in preparing comprehensive Financial and Accounting Reports.
• Prior experience working with the Oracle Finance Module, SAP or similar ERP is a significant advantage.
• Strong Communication and Negotiation Skills for dealing with vendors and customers.
• Demonstrated ability to think logically, coupled with strong numerical skills.
• Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
• Professional demeanor with a strong Customer Service Orientation.
