Key Responsibilities:

  • Record daily financial transactions in the accounting system accurately and timely.
  • Assist with accounts payable and receivable, including invoice processing and payment follow-ups.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and manage petty cash.
  • Assist in preparation of monthly financial statements and year-end closing.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and filing of accounting records.
  • Support VAT calculations, returns, and compliance in line with Oman Tax Authority requirements.
  • Assist with inventory control, fixed asset registers, and depreciation schedules.
  • Support internal and external audits with necessary documentation.
  • Communicate with vendors and clients for account-related queries.

Qualifications & Skills:

· Master’s degree in accounting, Finance, or Commerce.

  • 4 years of accounting experience in Oman is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Oman VAT laws and compliance procedures.
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally,.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas).
  • Good understanding of accounting principles (IFRS preferred).
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and time management.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RO300.000 - RO350.000 per month
