Key Responsibilities:
- Record daily financial transactions in the accounting system accurately and timely.
- Assist with accounts payable and receivable, including invoice processing and payment follow-ups.
- Perform bank reconciliations and manage petty cash.
- Assist in preparation of monthly financial statements and year-end closing.
- Maintain accurate documentation and filing of accounting records.
- Support VAT calculations, returns, and compliance in line with Oman Tax Authority requirements.
- Assist with inventory control, fixed asset registers, and depreciation schedules.
- Support internal and external audits with necessary documentation.
- Communicate with vendors and clients for account-related queries.
Qualifications & Skills:
· Master’s degree in accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
- 4 years of accounting experience in Oman is preferred.
- Knowledge of Oman VAT laws and compliance procedures.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally,.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas).
- Good understanding of accounting principles (IFRS preferred).
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and time management.
