Accountant / Bookkeeper

We are looking for an experienced US Accountant to manage bookkeeping, financial reporting, and compliance for multiple clients within an accounting firm environment. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with US GAAP, strong reconciliation skills, and the ability to handle multiple sets of books efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage bookkeeping for multiple clients across industries
• Record and classify financial transactions accurately
• Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
• Prepare monthly financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
• Clean up and manage uncategorized / onboarding accounts
• Handle accounts payable and receivable processes
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing
• Prepare reports and schedules for tax filings
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP and firm policies
• Communicate with clients for missing information and clarifications
• Identify discrepancies and resolve accounting issues

Required Qualifications

• ACCA Member
• 3–5+ years of US accounting experience (preferably in a firm)
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP
• Experience with QuickBooks Online and/or similar tools
• Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, lookups, data cleanup)
• Experience handling multiple clients/books simultaneously
• Strong attention to detail and deadlines
