Position Summary

VAS is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounting & Finance Associate to support our financial operations. This role works closely with the Finance Manager to ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance, and efficient day-to-day accounting processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Support daily accounting and financial operations
• Assist with bookkeeping, financial reporting, and reconciliations
• Maintain accurate and organized financial records
• Track grant funding and support budget monitoring
• Assist with audits and compliance requirements
• Collaborate with program teams on financial tracking
• Provide backup support for accounting functions as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (required)
• Experience with accounting systems is a plus
• Bilingual in English and Vietnamese (required)
• Nonprofit experience is a plus but not required
