Position

The Accounts Payable Clerk processes invoices, reconciles vendor accounts, and assists with payment runs while maintaining accurate records and responding to vendor inquiries. This position also supports month-end closing, audits, and general accounts payable operations while ensuring compliance with company policies.

Responsibilities

Accurate data entry of invoices into ERP system, including matching to purchase orders and general ledger account coding.
Scan and index of invoices into document management system.
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
Respond to vendor inquiries.
Work closely with purchasing department and key department heads to resolve invoice discrepancies.
Assist with preparation and processing of scheduled payment runs (checks, ACH, credit card, etc).
Maintain Accounts Payable check stock in secured location.
Assist department with filing and scanning as needed.
Ensure compliance to company policies, accounting procedures and established controls.
Adhere to month end closing guidelines.
Support audits by providing requested documentation
Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
Other duties as assigned.
