- Assist the principal and senior administrative staff in routine tasks.
- Manage correspondence (letters, emails, notices, circulars).
- Maintain and organize college records and documentation (student records, staff files, circulars, etc.).
- Assist with student admissions – distributing forms, collecting documents, data entry.
- Maintain and update student databases (e.g., enrollment, attendance, results).
- Generate and issue bonafide certificates, transfer certificates, etc.
- Act as a point of contact between students, parents, staff, and external parties.
- Answer phone calls, respond to queries, and forward calls/messages.
- Coordinate with departments (academic, accounts, exam cell, library, etc.) for smooth inter-departmental communication.
- Handle printing, photocopying, and filing tasks.
- Maintain registers/logs for student and staff activities.
- Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and notices for meetings or events.
- Use MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for maintaining records and preparing reports.
- Enter and update data in college management systems (CMS/ERP software, if used).
