Job Summary:

McCarroll Design & Building Company LLC is seeking an organized, detail-oriented individual to join our team as an office assistant.

We are a growing residential construction company seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Office Assistant to manage administrative operations and support project execution from pre-construction through closeout.

A strong candidate will have experience working with Quickbooks, Google Sheets/Microsoft Excel, Google Docs/Microsoft Word, and basic social media platforms.

The ideal candidate is proactive, systems-minded, comfortable with construction terminology, and capable of managing multiple workflows simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble and maintain project files (digital and physical)
  • Assist with project management documentation
  • Coordinate subcontractor documentation (W-9s, COIs, lien waivers)
  • Standardizing company document templates
  • Maintain organized financial records for CPA review (Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software required.)
  • Reconcile bank and credit card statements
  • Track project budgets, payroll documents, and invoices/payments
  • Manage company social media accounts (Instagram, Facebook, etc.)
  • Assist in maintaining website content
  • Manage calendars and scheduling
  • Assist with SOP documentation and systems development
  • Support special projects as assigned

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years administrative or bookkeeping experience (construction preferred)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace
  • QuickBooks or similar accounting software experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized and systems-oriented
  • Ability to prioritize and work independently

Salary & Schedule:

Hourly position with initial rate of $20/hour. Work will be part time (3 days/week) to begin, with the opportunity to reach 40 hours per week. Work from home with semi-regular (1 day/week) in-office work. Specific work days are negotiable.
