As an Administrative Assistant, you will work closely with the Human Resources Manager and Admin team on office support, assist with meeting prep and facilitation, participate in special projects as needed, and provide backup to other administrative positions.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Support and organize driver safety banquets, safety meetings and other events
  • Support general administrative tasks, such as filing, data entry, and document preparation
  • Apply lean thinking to identify and eliminate waste in all areas of the position
  • Support Orientation and training as well as entering training records into UKG
  • Process safety shoe reimbursements
  • Support driver shirt orders
  • Process invoices and check requests
  • Facilitate campaigns such as but not limited to N2N, Alzheimer’s, United Way
  • Administrator for charitable requests
  • Other duties as assigned

YOU MUST HAVE

  • High school diploma or general equivalency degree
  • Intermediate-to-advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products, especially PowerPoint & Excel
  • Integrity and ability to maintain confidential company personnel records
  • Effective communication and organization skills
  • Effective prioritization skills and ability to handle multiple tasks
  • Self-motivated and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines

YOU MAY ALSO HAVE

  • College degree
  • Great interpersonal skills in working with employees
  • Ability to work independently as well as work with other departments
  • HR experience is a plus
  • UKG experience is a plus
