Position Summary
The Administrative Assistant Intern for the CMO will provide high-level administrative and operational support to the Chief Marketing Officer, ensuring smooth execution of marketing initiatives, internal coordination, and system maintenance. This internship is designed for individuals seeking hands-on experience in marketing operations, project management, and executive support within a mission-driven wellness organization.
Key Responsibilities
Administrative Support
- Manage CMO calendar, scheduling, and meeting coordination
- Prepare agendas, meeting materials, and documentation for internal and external meetings
- Maintain task and project tracking systems to ensure timely completion of deliverables
Marketing Operations Assistance
- Support maintenance and organization of marketing systems (website, CRM, analytics dashboards)
- Assist with social media scheduling, content organization, and performance tracking
- Help monitor SEO, email campaigns, and digital performance metrics
Project Coordination
- Track progress on marketing campaigns, roadmaps, and initiatives
- Assist in collecting data for monthly and quarterly reports
- Support cross-functional collaboration and follow-ups with internal teams and external vendors
Research & Analysis
- Conduct basic market, competitor, or audience research as requested
- Compile data summaries for CMO review
- Assist in identifying opportunities for optimization and efficiency
Documentation & Compliance
- Help maintain accurate records for campaigns, reports, and marketing materials
- Ensure materials are stored in accordance with organizational standards and compliance requirements
Qualifications & Skills
- Currently enrolled in or recently completed a degree program in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and basic familiarity with marketing tools (CRM, social media, analytics)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and adaptable to a fast-paced environment
