Position Summary

The Administrative Assistant Intern for the CMO will provide high-level administrative and operational support to the Chief Marketing Officer, ensuring smooth execution of marketing initiatives, internal coordination, and system maintenance. This internship is designed for individuals seeking hands-on experience in marketing operations, project management, and executive support within a mission-driven wellness organization.

Key Responsibilities

Administrative Support

  • Manage CMO calendar, scheduling, and meeting coordination
  • Prepare agendas, meeting materials, and documentation for internal and external meetings
  • Maintain task and project tracking systems to ensure timely completion of deliverables

Marketing Operations Assistance

  • Support maintenance and organization of marketing systems (website, CRM, analytics dashboards)
  • Assist with social media scheduling, content organization, and performance tracking
  • Help monitor SEO, email campaigns, and digital performance metrics

Project Coordination

  • Track progress on marketing campaigns, roadmaps, and initiatives
  • Assist in collecting data for monthly and quarterly reports
  • Support cross-functional collaboration and follow-ups with internal teams and external vendors

Research & Analysis

  • Conduct basic market, competitor, or audience research as requested
  • Compile data summaries for CMO review
  • Assist in identifying opportunities for optimization and efficiency

Documentation & Compliance

  • Help maintain accurate records for campaigns, reports, and marketing materials
  • Ensure materials are stored in accordance with organizational standards and compliance requirements

Qualifications & Skills

  • Currently enrolled in or recently completed a degree program in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and basic familiarity with marketing tools (CRM, social media, analytics)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and adaptable to a fast-paced environment
