Responsibilities
- Define, propose, implement and maximize the Aftersales training strategy for Nissan Middle East (NMEF).
- Ensure sufficient levels of Technical, Service, and Parts Operations competency at the NSCs to deliver high-quality product repair, customer experience, and parts business results.
- Lead, oversee and guide NSC training activities to ensure alignment with NMEF business strategies.
Main tasks and responsibilities
- Technical Training
- Train and certify NSC technical trainers on Global Nissan Service Technician Education Programs (N-STEP) and ensure NSCs have qualified trainers to deliver local training.
- Localise, update and deliver new model technical training; conduct Train-The-Trainer (TTT) programs for Technical Trainers or directly to frontline staff.
- Collaborate with regional and global teams to ensure training materials are current and reflect local technology and equipment specifications.
- Perform regular training needs analyses and design/ develop new training materials (Instructor-Led, e-Learning, or Virtual Classroom) to close gaps.
- Deliver EV/NEV technical training and certification to ensure NSCs have the knowledge to service and repair NEVs.
- Pursue ongoing knowledge enhancement through Master Trainer TTT programs at regional/global levels.
- Service & Parts (Non-Technical) Training
- Train and certify NSC non-technical trainers on Global Nissan Sales & Service Way (NSSW) and the G-NSAP, ensuring trainers are prepared to deliver local training.
- Localise plans and deliver new model product training; conduct TTT for Non-Technical trainers or frontline staff.
- Conduct regular non-technical training needs analyses in NMEF markets and develop service advisor/manager training programs to close gaps.
- Administrative
- Ensure training materials are up-to-date in the Learning Management System (LMS) and NSCs are proficient in LMS usage.
- Manage training KPIs and ensure compliance with global, regional and local certification requirements aligned with business strategy.
- Maintain the Regional Training Centre resources and prepare regional training plans in line with NMEF annual plans.
- Generate monthly training and certification status reports for NSCs, NMEF, Regional and Global stakeholders.
- Coordinate external training providers to meet required quality levels and company strategy.
- Explore and implement training enhancement strategies, including AI integrations, to keep training modern and effective.
- Lead regional training events and manage the training budget in alignment with business strategies.
- Lead and mentor training team members where applicable.
Country Specifics
KPIs
- Maintain global technician certification standards (N-STEP 1-3) in line with global, regional and local KPI requirements.
- Maintain Global Service Advisor certification standards across the region.
- Maintain certifications for Parts Sales Consultants/Managers and Service Managers.
- Other KPIs as required by the business on an ad-hoc basis.
Background & Experience Specific technical skills
- Significant experience in training and development (7-8+ years).
- Affinity/experience with training activities and a dealer network (Sales and Aftersales).
- Experience with systems, technology and digital tools; cross-functional management skills.
- Ability to conduct public presentations and strong automotive knowledge; qualified automotive technician with knowledge of diagnostics and repair.
- Proven competency in delivering quality technical training to trainers.
- Certified automotive high voltage technician/trainer.
- Knowledge of eLearning design and course development tools (Captivate, Synthesia, Articulate, etc.).
- Knowledge of Cornerstone/Saba LMS.

Minimum Education
- Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical or similar) or equivalent (required).
- Certificate/Diploma in Adult Education/Training/Train-The-Trainer (required).
- University degree in Business Management or equivalent (advantageous).

- Fluent in English; Arabic (optional).
