You will conduct routine patrols throughout the property, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to calls for service with professionalism and clear communication. You will also support tenants and visitors with a customer-first approach while documenting activity as needed. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control protocols, and other security-related duties at a commercial real estate location.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of common areas, exterior perimeter, parking areas, and loading or service corridors to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or property damage.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and tenant concerns in a calm, problem-solving manner, initiating emergency response activities when appropriate and contacting management and/or public emergency services as directed.
  • Monitor cameras, gates, doors, and other building systems when assigned, documenting unusual conditions and reporting maintenance or security-related concerns to site leadership.
  • Complete detailed written reports of patrols, incidents, and interactions, preserving pertinent information for follow-up by property management and/or Allied Universal.

Minimum Requirements:

  • An armed guard card/license is required.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
