Assistant Designer

‘My E-Haat’ is working towards providing maximum benefit to artisans, dedicated to the upliftment of India’s artisans and strengthening the value chain of the handicrafts sector. A holistic approach is taken involving the backward integration (or the supply side) as well as forward linkages (or the demand side). My E-Haat portal enables the Artisans/ primary producers to list and showcase their products to global audience.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist in designing new product collections aligned with My E-Haat’s vision.
2. Collaborate with artisans to convert modern ideas into traditional craft products.
3. Create mood boards, technical drawings, and ensure quality during sampling.
4. Identify design diversification opportunities while preserving authenticity.
5. Support artisan training workshops and provide on-ground assistance.
6. Help document feedback and improve training outcomes iteratively.
7. Contribute to marketing content through design narratives and craft stories.
8. Manage design documentation and assist in catalogue creation for buyers.
9. Support branding, exhibitions, shoots, and display centre activities.
10. Ensure timely coordination and delivery across partners and events.

Requirements:

1. Education: Graduation in Design (preferably in Textile and Fashion Design)

from reputed fashion design colleges (like NIFT and NID)

2. Experience: Minimum 1-3 years of experience in textile and fashion designing or a related field
