Provides administrative support to the Vice President, Operations. Under the direction of the VP Operations, manages all maintenance needs of all company facilities to achieve optimal functioning of building systems and actively oversees special projects.
  • Professional Duties
    - Provide administrative support to VP, Operations by answering telephones, organizing and distributing all internal and external mail and maintaining calendar of appointments.
  • - Prepare and maintains all legal files as required for Risk Management. Interacts with attorneys and staff as needed and arranges for depositions of physicians and employees.
  • - Assist with new location set-ups and internal moves for tenant improvements as well as coordination of moves.
  • - Ensure that complaints regarding building maintenance, equipment failures or faults and safety issues are addressed promptly and appropriately at all DOHC locations.
  • - Receive complaints and acts as liaison between property managers/owners for all locations to coordinate maintenance needs. Arranges for service calls to repair all items under DOHC perview.
  • - Maintain CLIA files for all locations and updates as necessary.
  • - Responsible for maintaining all licenses, Environmental Health Permits and various state and local licenses as required.
  • - Maintain key box and log for all El Cielo and other locations.
  • - Manage calendars for all conference rooms.
  • - Perform other duties as assigned.
  • - Serve as an ambassador for Desert Oasis Healthcare and Family Hospice Care at all times and positively shape the customer experience
  • - Avoid gossip and negativity

  • Qualifications
    - High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or closely related field, preferred.
  • - 5 years of experience in a healthcare setting.
  • - Able to effectively use Microsoft Office Suite programs, primarily Word and Excel.
  • - Able to build and maintain effective relationships with all levels within the organization.
  • - Flexibility and able to multi-task with great efficiency.
  • - Current California Drivers license and proof of insurance.
