Assistant Export Manager

As an Assistant Export Manager, your primary responsibility will be to support the Export Manager in handling all aspects of the export process. You will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth and efficient export operations for the company. Your main duties will revolve around proforma creation and managing export-related documentation.

Responsibilities:

Proforma Creation: You will be responsible for preparing proforma invoices, which outline the details of the export transactions, including the products, quantities, prices, and terms of sale. This involves coordinating with various internal departments to gather the necessary information and ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.

Export Documentation: You will be responsible for managing all export-related documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, shipping instructions, certificates of origin, customs documents, and any other required documentation. This entails understanding and adhering to the specific documentation requirements of different countries and ensuring timely and accurate completion of all paperwork.

Compliance and Regulations: You will need to stay updated with international trade regulations, export controls, and customs requirements to ensure compliance. This includes understanding export restrictions, embargoes, licensing requirements, and trade agreements. You will work closely with the Export Manager to ensure that all export activities are in full compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Shipment Coordination: You will collaborate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and other logistics service providers to coordinate export shipments. This involves arranging transportation, tracking shipments, and ensuring on-time delivery. You will also be responsible for resolving any shipment-related issues or delays.

Communication and Coordination: Effective communication and coordination are essential in this role. You will liaise with internal departments such as sales, production, finance, and legal, as well as external stakeholders such as customers, suppliers, customs authorities, and regulatory agencies. Clear and timely communication will be crucial to ensure smooth export operations.

Record Keeping: You will maintain accurate records of export transactions, including documentation, shipping details, and compliance records. This includes organizing and archiving all export-related paperwork in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs40,000.00 - Rs60,000.00 per month
