Assistant manager Cargo Sales

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and result-driven Assistant Manager – Cargo Sales to join our team in Lahore. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving cargo sales, developing strong client relationships, and expanding market share while ensuring revenue growth in line with company objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective cargo sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
  • Identify and onboard new clients, including freight forwarders and corporate customers.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing customers to ensure repeat business.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies.
  • Coordinate with revenue management and operations teams for optimal cargo capacity utilization.
  • Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and performance analysis.
  • Negotiate rates and contracts in line with company policies.
  • Ensure timely resolution of customer queries and service-related issues.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Aviation Management, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in cargo sales, logistics, or airline industry.
  • Strong knowledge of air cargo market and customer base in Lahore.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.

Preferred Skills

  • Understanding of IATA cargo procedures and documentation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet sales targets.
  • Leadership and team management skills.
