We are urgently hiring for Assistant Manager Cost and Budgeting for one of our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the preparation, consolidation, and monitoring of annual budgets across all business units, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and financial strategy.
- Conduct detailed cost analysis, identify variances against budget, and provide actionable insights to enhance operational efficiency and profitability.
- Develop and maintain cost models; perform scenario and sensitivity analysis to support strategic decision-making and cost optimization initiatives.
- Collaborate closely with department heads to establish realistic budget targets and ensure adherence to approved allocations.
- Monitor and evaluate project costs, capital expenditures (CAPEX), and departmental spending to support effective financial planning and control.
- Prepare comprehensive financial reports and management presentations highlighting cost trends, savings opportunities, and performance against budget.
- Implement and enhance best practices in budgeting, forecasting, and cost monitoring to strengthen internal financial controls and governance.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by recommending process enhancements and cost control measures.
- Mentor and guide finance team members in budgeting, financial analysis, and cost management processes to build team capability and efficiency.
Requirements:
- ICMA / ACCA (mandatory).
- Minimum 4–5 years of experience in cost control, budgeting, and financial planning within the manufacturing sector.
- Hands-on experience with SAP FICO / SAP CO modules for cost tracking, budgeting, and reporting.
- Proficiency in budgeting tools, ERP systems, and advanced Excel.
