The Assistant Manager – Mall Leasing & Management supports the strategic and operational functions of mall leasing, tenant coordination, and overall mall administration. This role isinstrumental in maintaining a vibrant tenant mix, ensuring lease compliance, and enhancing the customer and tenant experience. The ideal candidate is a proactive, detail-oriented professional with strong interpersonal and organizational skills, capable of balancing commercial objectiveswith service excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Leasing Coordination
- Assist in executing leasing strategies to attract and retain quality tenants
- Support lease negotiations, documentation, and renewals in coordination with legal and finance teams
- Maintain updated records of lease agreements, expiry schedules, and rental terms
- Monitor tenant performance and ensure alignment with mall brand and positioning
Tenant Relations & Onboarding
- Facilitate smooth onboarding of new tenants, ensuring compliance with mall policies and operational standards
- Act as a liaison between tenants and internal departments for issue resolution and service requests
- Conduct regular tenant engagement to gather feedback and foster long-term relationships
Mall Operations Support
- Collaborate with operations, marketing, and facilities teams to ensure seamless mall functioning
- Monitor cleanliness, safety, and service standards across common areas
- Assist in planning and executing mall events, promotions, and seasonal campaigns
Reporting & Market Intelligence
- Prepare periodic reports on leasing status, occupancy rates, and revenue forecasts• Conduct market research to identify retail trends, competitor activity, and customer preferences
- Recommend improvements to leasing strategies and operational processes based on insights
Qualifications & Skills
- Master’s degree in business administration, Real Estate, Marketing, or related field
- 3–5 years of experience in mall leasing, retail operations, or commercial property management
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Proficiency in lease management software, MS Office, and CRM tools
- Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and adapt to a dynamic retail environment
