Assistant Manager - Sales & Marketing

Karachi, Pakistan

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Assistant Manager – Sales & Marketing to support business growth in the printing and packaging sector. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of packaging materials, print processes, and customer requirements across industries such as FMCG, pharmaceuticals, food & beverage, or consumer goods. This role demands strong business development skills, client management, and the ability to drive revenue growth through effective marketing strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in target markets (local and export, if applicable).
  • Manage existing client accounts and maintain strong client relationships to ensure repeat business.
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and quotations.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, pricing models, and competitor activities.
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Coordinate with production and design teams to ensure timely delivery and product quality.

Marketing:

  • Assist in developing and executing marketing strategies to enhance brand visibility.
  • Support in planning and participating in industry trade shows, exhibitions, and B2B events.
  • Coordinate the creation of marketing materials such as brochures, product catalogs, and digital content.
  • Manage digital marketing initiatives including website updates, LinkedIn campaigns, and email marketing.
  • Monitor customer feedback and market trends to recommend product or service improvements.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • 3–5 years of experience in sales and marketing, preferably in the printing & packaging industry.
  • Strong knowledge of packaging materials (corrugated boxes, labels, flexible packaging, etc.) and printing technologies (offset, flexo, gravure, digital).
  • Proven track record in B2B sales and key account management.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, CRM software, and basic knowledge of digital marketing tools.
