Role Summary:
The Assistant Sales Manager – Catering supports the Sales Manager in driving catering sales, maintaining client relationships, and achieving revenue targets. The role focuses on business development, client coordination, proposal preparation, and execution of catering events while ensuring high customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing and implementing catering sales strategies to achieve targets
- Identify new business opportunities (corporate, events, weddings, government, and private clients)
- Handle client inquiries, prepare quotations, proposals, and contracts
- Coordinate with operations, kitchen, and logistics teams to ensure smooth event execution
- Conduct client meetings, site visits, and tastings when required
- Support in negotiating pricing and closing deals under management guidance
- Maintain accurate sales records, reports, and client databases
- Follow up on leads, confirmations, payments, and post-event feedback
- Ensure compliance with company policies, food safety, and UAE regulations
- Represent the company professionally at networking events and exhibitions
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality, or related field
- Minimum 2–4 years’ experience in catering or hospitality sales (UAE experience preferred)
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of catering operations and event coordination
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems
- Valid UAE driving license (preferred)
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
