Associate, BTL Marketing

noon, the region's leading consumer commerce platform. On December 12th, 2017, noon launched its consumer platform in Saudi Arabia and the UAE, expanding to Egypt in February 2019. The noon ecosystem of services now includes marketplaces for food delivery, quick-commerce, fintech, and fashion. noon is a work in progress; we’re six years in, but only 5% done.

What you'll do:

Planning, developing and executing customer acquisition strategy offline campaigns for noon Egypt:

  • Support the BTL manager in planning and executing successful on ground campaigns, owning implementation from ideation to execution
  • Manage end-to-end agency and supplier processes, including briefing, bids, evaluation, and selection.
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships and partner with key industry players, suppliers, agencies and vendors in Egypt
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with (Design, Legal, Commercial, Finance teams…) to ensure smooth execution and objectives achievement.
  • Ensure full 360° campaign integration by aligning on-ground campaigns activations with the performance marketing team.
  • Monitor and control budgets for activations and branding initiatives.
  • Ensure strategy and activities are in-line with the overarching marketing strategy.
  • Identify and develop new partnerships and acquisition channels to expand the customer base.
  • Continuously amend strategy and roadmap based on learnings and best practice
  • Ensure all BTL comms and assets are in line with established brand guidelines (e.g. look and feel, tone of voice, etc.)
  • Provide consistent and high-quality visual coverage (photo/video) of on-ground activities to support social media content requirements.



What you'll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • 0-1 years of proven experience in BTL, preferably from an agency background as well as in-house experience
  • Experience with organizing and executing on-ground activations
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in offline marketing and customer acquisition
  • Confident and positive communicator
  • A sense of aesthetics and a love for great copy and witty communication
  • Strong organizational and project management skills; the ability to manage multiple projects at once and meet deadlines
  • Prior BTL experience in e-commerce is a big plus
