Role Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Associate Project Manager to assist in planning, coordinating, and executing software development projects. The role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and external partners to ensure timely delivery while meeting project scope and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution
- Track project timelines, scope, and deliverables to ensure successful completion
- Work with stakeholders to define project goals, scope, and expected outcomes
- Optimize resource utilization to improve efficiency and productivity
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including milestones and progress tracking
- Manage changes in scope, timelines, and budgets using appropriate tools and methodologies
- Monitor project performance using defined metrics and reporting systems
- Assist Project Managers in enhancing workflows and operational processes
- Provide regular status updates to senior management, highlighting progress, risks, and issues
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
- Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies
- Coordinate with third-party vendors when necessary
- Ensure all project documentation is accurate, well-organized, and up to date
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (4-year program), preferably in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in project management
- At least 1 year of experience in software development is preferred
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and web technologies
- Solid knowledge of Agile methodologies
- Hands-on experience with project management tools such as Jira, Asana, or similar platforms
- Excellent written, verbal, and client-facing communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and maintain attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
