Job Description —Project Manager

Reports To: Head of IT Operations
Employment Type: Full-time (On-Site, Lahore)
Experience Required: 4–7 years in software project management, including at least 2 years managing cross-functional technology projects

The Project Manager will manage project execution from initiation through deployment and post-release stabilization. In a healthcare software environment, the role must also ensure that project activities consider patient-data privacy, security, regulatory requirements, clinical workflows, and operational risk.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define project scope, objectives, project plans, deliverables, milestones, dependencies, acceptance criteria and deployment, and closure.
  • Coordinate the work of software developers, QA engineers, designers, DevOps engineers, business analysts, implementation teams, and support personnel.
  • Confirm that completed deliverables meet agreed functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Conduct project kick-off meetings, daily or weekly progress meetings, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and stakeholder updates.
  • Remove delivery blockers and escalate issues that cannot be resolved at the project level.
  • Manage projects using Agile, Scrum, Kanban, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies as appropriate.
  • Support sprint planning, backlog refinement, estimation, release planning, and sprint execution.
  • Identify technical, operational, regulatory, resource, schedule, vendor, and customer-related risks.
  • Define risk owners, mitigation actions, contingency plans, and escalation
  • Facilitate demonstrations, review meetings, steering-committee meetings, and customer acceptance sessions.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related discipline.
  • 4–7 years of project-management experience in software development or technology delivery.
  • Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle.
  • Experience using project-management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Project, Azure DevOps, Trello, or similar platforms.
  • Experience in healthcare software, telehealth, electronic health records, remote patient monitoring, practice-management systems, or clinical applications.
  • Project Management Professional, PRINCE2, Certified ScrumMaster, PMI-ACP, or equivalent certification.
