Role Purpose
To drive revenue growth by identifying, developing, and managing relationships with stakeholders in the interior fit-out industry offering products and services that meet their project needs. The role demands a proactive approach to prospecting, strong technical understanding of interior fit-out requirements, and the ability to convert opportunities into profitable long-term partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Development:
- Identify and approach new interior fit-out contractors, project managers, and procurement teams.
- Research upcoming commercial, residential, and hospitality fit-out projects to build a strong sales pipeline.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with key decision makers (contractors, designers, architects, procurement heads).
- Provide technical advice, samples, and proposals tailored to specific project needs.
- Sales & Revenue Generation:
- Prepare and deliver presentations, quotations, and tenders.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and contract conditions in line with company policy.
- Consistently achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Market Intelligence:
- Track competitor activities, pricing, and market trends.
- Provide regular feedback to management for strategy development.
- Coordination & Reporting:
- Liaise with internal teams (design, logistics, finance) to ensure smooth order execution.
- Maintain accurate records in the CRM system and submit weekly sales reports.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Interior Design, or related field.
- 3–5 years’ proven sales experience, preferably in the FFE, furniture, lighting, acoustics, MEP, stone works, scaffolding, or building materials industries
- Existing network of interior contractors and consultants is a strong advantage.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong understanding of interior fit-out processes, timelines, and material requirements.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings/specifications is a plus.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable with regular client visits.
- Proficiency in Google Sheets and CRM tools.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Monthly and quarterly sales revenue achieved.
- Number of new interior fit-out contractor accounts developed.
- Quality and accuracy of sales forecasts and reporting.
- Client satisfaction and repeat business rate.
