THE ROLE:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Chef specializing in both Turkish and Arabic-style baklava for The Ned Doha, the ideal candidate will demonstrate mastery in creating exceptional baklava from scratch, including the ability to prepare authentic hand-made filo pastry. The role requires working independently and efficiently, with experience handling high-volume production while maintaining impeccable standards.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

• Preparing and presenting a wide range of traditional and contemporary baklava varieties
• Perfecting the art of hand-layered phyllo, premium nut selection, and syrup infusion
• Ensuring consistency, quality, and authenticity in every batch
• Supporting the Pastry Kitchen in maintaining the highest hygiene and food safety standards
• Contributing innovative ideas while respecting classic techniques

ABOUT YOU:

• Proven experience as a Baklava Chef or Speciality Pastry Chef
• Strong knowledge of Middle Eastern and Turkish pastry traditions
• Attention to detail and passion for craftsmanship
• Experience in luxury hotels or high-end pastry kitchens is an advantage
• A team player with a positive and professional attitude
