Barista

Job Overview:
We are looking for a passionate and knowledgeable Barista to join our team at C45 Artisan Coffee. As a Barista, you will specialize in crafting high-quality specialty coffee using precise brewing techniques and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve specialty coffee drinks, including espresso-based beverages, pour-over, AeroPress, and other manual brewing methods.
• Maintain a deep understanding of coffee origins, flavor profiles, and brewing techniques to educate customers and recommend drinks based on their preferences.
• Calibrate espresso machines and grinders to ensure optimal extraction and consistent quality.
• Ensure accurate use of the POS system for orders and payments.
• Use upselling techniques to recommend additional products and improve customer experience.
• Maintain cleanliness in the cafe, including workstations, equipment, and seating areas.
• Provide friendly and professional customer service.
• Manage stock levels and inform the supervisor when supplies are low.
• Follow health and safety guidelines at all times.

Requirements:

• Previous barista or specialty coffee experience is preferred but not required.
• Strong passion for specialty coffee and willingness to develop skills in manual brewing methods.
• Excellent communication, upselling, and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
