Barista

Job Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic, friendly and skilled Barista to join our team in creating exceptional coffee experiences for our customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer service, a love for coffee, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality beverages while ensuring a welcoming atmosphere in our café.

Requirements

• Previous barista experience is required.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members. We are looking for bubbly and energetic baristas! A team player mentality is essential.
• Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and practices related to food preparation and handling.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work various shifts. weekends (both saturday AND sunday) are required!!

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and food items according to Lula standards.
• Operate the square systems efficiently to process customer orders and handle cash transactions.
• Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food preparation stations and equipment.
• Follow food safety guidelines and ensure proper food handling practices are adhered to at all times.
• Demonstrate excellent time management skills to ensure timely service during peak hours.
• Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment and enhance overall customer satisfaction.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.66 per hour
