DESCRIPTION

The Scooter’s Coffee Barista is the amazing that creates a

memorable experience for our customers by providing fast, friendly service and

building connections every day. Previous experience with coffee is not

required. You bring your special something and we’ll teach you the coffee!

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide an amazing experience to every customer who

chooses Scooter’s Coffee. Welcome any questions and seek opportunities to help

customers find the perfect drink to make their day amazing.

• Take customer orders with a smile and enter them quickly

and correctly in our point-of-sale system.

• Manage cash transactions following established cash

handling procedures while creating a genuine connection with our customers.

Coffee is a relationship and friendship business more than a beverage business!

• Craft customer drinks following Scooter’s Coffee recipes

to ensure a consistent experience regardless of location. We make sure the

customer’s experience is the same level of amazing no matter where they visit

us!

• Deliver products Amazingly Fast. Scooter’s Coffee is built

on speed and consistency to always keep our customers saying, that was fast!

Drinks…Amazingly Fast means we work together to keep our stores clean, stocked,

and ready to serve from open to close.

SCHEDULE REQUIREMENTS

• The ability to work a flexible schedule from 5 a.m. to 8

p.m.

• The ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as

necessary, while following established procedures for requesting time off

QUALIFICATIONS

• No previous experience is necessary, just a willingness to

learn

• Commitment to learning and mastering the Scooter’s Coffee

recipes and techniques

• Age 16 or older
• Be a Team Player. In order to deliver our brand promise,

we work as a team

• Be dependable, punctual, and ready every day
• Detail-oriented and self-motivated
• Ability to learn quickly and multitask in a fast-paced

environment

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Constant Standing/Walking
• Occasion stooping, kneeling, or crawling
• Ability to lift and carry up to 35 lbs
• Occasional climbing of ladders while carrying box and

supplies

• Frequent spinal and wrist movements

JOB TYPE: Part-Time

COMPENSATION

• Hourly Pay: $11.00/hour
• Supplemental: Weekly tip share with other Baristas
