Barista

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Barista to join our team in Qatar. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality beverages, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in accordance with Qatar Municipality and food safety regulations

Key Responsibilities

Beverage Preparation

• Prepare and serve hot and cold beverages including coffee, espresso, cappuccino, latte, tea, and specialty drinks
• Operate espresso machines, grinders, and other café equipment
• Maintain consistency in taste, quality, and presentation

Customer Service

• Greet customers professionally and take orders accurately
• Recommend menu items and upsell products
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally

Hygiene & Food Safety

• Follow Qatar Municipality food safety and hygiene standards
• Maintain cleanliness of the coffee station and dining area
• Ensure proper storage of ingredients

Operations

• Monitor stock levels and report shortages
• Handle cash/card payments
• Assist in opening and closing duties

Requirements

• Minimum 1–2 years experience as a Barista (Preferably in GCC)
• Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and beverage preparation
• Good communication skills in English
• Customer service mindset
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
