Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Billing Officer with strong knowledge of customs clearing and freight forwarding billing procedures. The ideal candidate should be able to prepare accurate invoices, verify supporting documents, and coordinate with operations teams to ensure proper recovery of expenses and charges.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and issue customer invoices for customs clearance, freight forwarding, transportation, and port-related services
• Ensure accurate recovery of government duties, port charges, vendor expenses, and service fees
• Verify supporting documents including GD copies, delivery orders, terminal receipts, and vendor invoices
• Maintain organized billing records for audit and compliance purposes
• Coordinate with operations and clearing teams for cost allocation and shipment details
• Reconcile customer accounts and resolve billing discrepancies
• Ensure compliance with customs regulations and company billing procedures

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in billing within customs clearing / freight forwarding industry
• Strong understanding of customs billing structure and port charges
• Good knowledge of GD documentation and clearing processes
• Assist in monitoring receivables and follow up on outstanding invoices
• Generate billing and revenue reports for management review
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software
